ICT TOOL FOR (CULTURAL) BUSINESS EVALUATION IS BEING DEVELOPED

The main innovative element of this result is its approach of the ENTERCOMP European Frame from the perspective of CREATIVE and CULTURAL INDUSTRIES. This tool will be designed so that the users will be able to self-evaluate their skills and competences in the sector in order to become more conscious of their own capacities and, therefore, more critical and competent to participate in their learning process. The final users – women who have just entered the world of entrepreneurship of cultural or creative industries – will receive a tool that is easy to browse, with multimedia and interactive elements. This tool will help them develop the basic mindframe to analyze critically and identify their own strengths and weaknesses and, therefore, be more ready to start new paths of formation.
Another INNOVATIVE element of this ICT tool will be its specific (although transferable) approach towards the cultural and creative sector. This tool will offer first a general vision for the user and a description of the creative and cultural industries and the skills needed to start as an entrepreneur. This tool will also provide aspiring and new businesswomen the essential knowledge and comprehension of what it takes to follow a business career, which will be the base of their future participation in the learning paths along their life.
